One of the most read articles on our old site was about the gorgeous Easter eggs by Franc Grom. Master Grom sadly died almost exactly two years ago.
The master craftsman from Vrhnika, Slovenia, drilled tiny holes into fragile egg shells to create beautiful artworks. Each egg has between 2,500 and 3,000 holes in it.
His breathtaking art can be seen in the Japanese imperial court, the White House, the German, Russian and many other presidential palaces around the world.
He was showcased by Reuters shortly before his death. Watch it here.
