What's new, pussycat?

When I worked as a field reporter (aaahhh, the good old, simpler days, when lunch was something that happened to other people) I often overheard photographers bitching about amateurs taking over their work. It seems that ever since digital photography took over  a monkey could do your job became a popular catch-phrase among their bosses.

Lucky for them none of their superiors noticed that even a cat could do it. And that's not all they can do...

Once a week Cooper, the feline photographer goes out for a walk with a camera attached to his collar, looking for those purrfect shots that give us a glimpse into the cat's world.

His work was exhibited in an art gallery and he even published a book. Although he dabbles a bit in video too, photography (well, that and sleeping - he's a cat after all...) remains his true passion. But he inspired a lot of kitties out there to let their creativity loose - a bunch of them even made a film - cameramen beware, you're next!

But, with no opposable thumbs, they still needed humans to help them out, so for now at least the video editors are safe from a feline takeover. But don't take your guard down just yet. Remember those cute videos of cats playing with iPads? I bet those are actually recorded attempts of them trying to get to the video editing app.
