Stephen Kettle

English sculptor Stephen Kettle makes his sculptures from extremely thin pieces of slate. His favorite themes are figurality of objects and big busts.

His most notable sculpture is the statue of Alan Turing, on display in the England's Bletchy Park, better know as the cradle of modern cryptology. Creating this massive sculpture took Kettle 18 months, using 1,5 tons of slate. Stephens works are unique and inspiring.
