A loft can be beautiful – Lakonis architects

Lakonis architects, who renovated and upgraded a loft in Vienna, Austria, proved that a renovated apartment can be, both beautiful and functional. Renovations often make me feel as if architects are driven by some unseeing force which inspires them to put shoe boxes or other bizarre objects in historic buildings.

Austrian conservationist and Lakonis architects seem to have a good feeling for merging modern and classical architecture. The roof structure of the newly constructed loft is made of steel, wood and concrete.

A remarkable merger of the old and the new!
