On a small island once lived an old dressmaker. She was the only dressmaker around and she was making dresses for all nearby small islands as well. in fact she was making everything for everyone. When she died, in her workshop piles of fabric were left behind from orders she didn’t manage to finish. Nobody overtook her craft so her workshop was left untouched for almost three decades.
An than one day her granddaughter decided to clean up the place and make herself a new living space. She found all those stuff and not one of the Family of course had no idea to whom all this fabric belong. They didn’t want to use it for themselves, coz’ you know… it’s a small island and they didn’t want to be fingerpointed, so they decided to give it away and it happened that all this material ended up with me. Well, not all of it coz’ moths were having on going feast.
…oh, and all those retro patterns!
