I never set out to become anything in particular, only to live creatively and push the scope of my experience for adventure and for passion... The raw brutal cold coastlands for the right waveriders to challenge - this is where my heart beats hardest...

...this is how Mickey Smith feels about his life and the world surrounding him. Lucky for us he decided to shoot a short film called Dark Side Of The Lens. Using Super 16mm film camera,  Canon 5D DSLR and aesthetic feel for photography, makes the story even more appealing. Cold and moody coastline of Ireland, big waves, sea life... they never looked so warm and friendly.
