Chocolate Pencils

These chocolate pencils are around for quite some time but I just love the simplicity of the concept. The product is a collaboration of a  Japanese architect and designer Oki Sato of Nendo with patissier Tsujiguchi Hironobu, the mastermind behind popular dessert shops Mont St. Claire and Le Chocolat de H. Tsujiguchi.

Much like the real pencils that come in different variations (HB, B, 2B...), the chocolate ones also vary in flavours from light milk chocolate to dark bittersweet chocolate. And once you’ve shaved your chocolate pencil to the end, you don’t have to throw it away, but you can just eat it! Yummy.
